Introduction: Exercise and physical activity as one of the key factors can have a significant impact on social health. The purpose of this study was to Comparison of social health dimensions in sport science students with other students from the Jahrom University.
Materials and Methods: The statistical population of this study was all students of Jahrom University.
  Seventy-nine sport science students (29 girls, 47 boys) were randomly selected as active group and 76 other students (47 boys, 29 girls) were selected as inactive group. In order to measure social health of individuals, the Keiz social health questionnaire was used. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and independent t-test were used to analyze the data.
Results: The results showed that there is significant different between sport science students with other students in social fluctuation scales (p = 0.004), social solidarity (p = 0/046), social cohesion (p = 0/019), social acceptance (p = 0/041) and the total score of social health (p = 0/001).
Discussion and Conclusion: Students of Sport Sciences compared to other university students (inactive), By participating in sports activities in addition to physical well-being, by developing social relationships, they can better understand the social norms of their community and promote social health through social and group activities in sport.
