Semi-structured in-person interviews were used for data collection. The transcripts of the interviews were analyzed with phenomenological approach using the colaizzi method.
Results: As a result, the main themes and their components and semantic supportive themes were categorized in five main themes of: women’s vulnerabilities , men’s vulnerabilities, problems in spousal intimacy, failure prone marriages , and family disfunctioning . Each of the above components had several supporting semantic units.
Conclusion: Phenomenological themes discovered through lived experiences of women yield new information about the etiology of men's meta-cognitive relationships, which necessitates in-depth explanation of their lived experiences by psychologists and specialists and the development of effective preventive measures based on these findings.
