This study aimed to explain the concerns of the families of nurses working in the Covid-19 wards.
Methods: The present study is a conventional content analysis study performed on family members of nurses working in university hospitals in Sari (Iran). 12 participants were included in the study using purposeful sampling. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data until saturation was reached. Data analysis was performed with the Elo and Kyngäs approach. Ethical considerations were taken into account in human studies.
Results: By analyzing the data, three main categories were extracted: "times of separation, turning the house from a support to a place of torture, COVID-19’ nurses: honor of the world" and 12 sub-categories.
Conclusion: Since family members play the most important role in psychological and social support, knowing their experiences can be the first step in improving the quality of nursing care in facing health crises.
